we operate brick and mortar stores and a shopify ecommerce site. we would like to be able to leverage yotpo’s review platform for our brick and mortar stores as well and send review requests both product & in store experience to our customers. Currently the review requests only work with our ecommerce platform. The underlying barcodes are the same in our stores and our ecommerce site but currently yotpo does not offer the functionality to send automated review requests for in store purchases and the in store customer experience. Currently that has to be a manual process but there are issues with sending out a manual review request as well as the underlying barcode in our system has to be converted to Yotpo’s internalized barcode? 

I would think there are many Yotpo customers that operate brick and mortar stores and ecommerce sites that could benefit from this added functionality? 

 

 

 

+1 on this request feature. I find asking them to review in-store experience in person is way more effective than shooting an email to them, who knows if they will read it. I would like to see @spalshofpink feature request and Reviews added to the in-store POS system with Heartland as well. Hey, We're struggling to figure out how to incorporate our in-store purchases and customer experiences into the platform. Our products have identical barcodes, but it seems like there's currently no automated way to send review requests for our in-store transactions, and we're hesitant to manually send them out. We've heard there might be a way to convert our existing barcodes to Yotpo's internalized format, but we're not sure how to go about it.

In order to automate review requests from in-store purchases - merchants need to send Yotpo the relevant order data in order to trigger a review request email. If you integrate with Shopify POS details can be found here: https://support.yotpo.com/docs/shopify-point-of-sale-pos-integration-for-reviews - otherwise you will need to leverage our API https://support.yotpo.com/docs/yotpo-api to send us relevant order data.
