Using Yotpo Subscriptions? Here's where to talk about it.
Subscriptions we love #3 💜 The Elderberry Co. - healthy families, happy moms and engaged subscribers 💜
Elderberry is a plant that is most highly recognised as a natural health remedy, to support immune systems. All elderberry products are made from the dried berries of the Sambucus Nigra plant. 💜 And the Elderberry Co. elderberry syrup is in a league of its own because of the RAW LOCAL honey used to sweeten it. The Elderberry Co. journey started with a simple Facebook post in 2017 where founder and mom, Jenny, shared an incredible remedy with other moms looking to keep their families healthy. From that single Facebook post, Jenny grew the business to a nationwide brand! 💘 Why we love The Elderberry Co.’s subscription strategy 💘 When Jenny started The Elderberry Co., she wanted it to be, primarily, a subscription-based business - so far the team has managed to make subscriptions 40% of their daily revenue. With the move to Yotpo, she is looking forward to increasing that to 60% with Yotpo’s full suite of products and growth-centric tools. The Elderberry Co. created their subscript
I’ve noticed that Yotpo subscription adds tags to customers in Shopify. Is there a guide that indicates what conditions these tags represent. It appears that tags are also not removed from a customer based on their behavior as least when I attempt to segment customers based on these tags. What I’m trying to do is segment customers who have an active subscription, customers that have paused their subscription, and customers who have canceled their subscriptions. However in cases where the customer has more than one subscription the tags are really not useful.
Hi there,What does ReCharge do to make sure that sales tax is correct on all the orders placed? We currently use ReCharge for our subscriptions. ReCharge uses Stripe payments and the sales tax can be different if they don’t update the sales taxes. Thank you for your time!Heath with CtyChick
HI there,I currently use ReCharge to handle my subscriptions in my Shopify store. ReCharge uses Stripe as a payment provider for their orders. This creates an additional account for me to reconcile at the end of the month and accounting can be a pain. How does Yotpo handle subscriptions? Or do you use Shopify payments?Thank you,Heath with CityChick

After I imported my 1000+ (maybe 2000 or more) subscribers from shopify into yotpo as yotpo asked, yotpo only set 200+ recent purchasers as subscriptions, and all others were inactive , and I can't modify this state, why? This is a Black Friday sale! And there is almost no customer service, the live chat never gets through! !
Hey guys, just installed the Yotpo Subscription service on my Shopify Venue theme and so far so good on the back end of things! My only issue is that it now shows on the products page a “Initial Deposit” choice which doesn’t make sense to me. Here’s a screenshot. https://www.shophagwood.com/collections/soaps/products/blaze-orange How do I get rid of this? This doesn’t seem to make sense to me. The subscribe button below all of that works, but why is this “Initial Deposit” choice showing up?Any help would be great because this looks very “scamm-y” to me lol.Shopify 2.0Theme: VenueApp Embed: Enabled
If a customer has a subscription set up, and wants to add a one time purchase item, can they do that? For example, if a customer has a coffee of the month subscription set up and that wanted to add a coffee cup to an upcoming order. Does Yotpo have that option available? Thanks!

The build-out of Subscriptions is less about Yotpo, and more about making our brands’ lives easier… by a lot.
The launch of Subscriptions marks Yuval Goldstein’s, our Director of New Products fifth year of product development with Yotpo. He originally joined to lead Reviews and Visual UGC after coming fresh from Microsoft, Wix, and a handful of other small startups. Yotpo Subscriptions was born from one question “What is the next step for your business?” What followed was several days of brands voicing the same thing on repeat — they needed to shift to a retention-first approach and were looking for tools that would make that easy. Their current options were clunky, didn’t integrate well into their current marketing tech stack, and made everything feel harder than it should be. Ultimately there was this resounding need for an easy-to-use subscriptions app that could reduce the dependency on acquisition and increase retention. We understood this was the macro need for eCommerce as an industry, but we really started to hone in on how we could add cross-functional value to our current product
