Please share your feedback with us about the Shopify Checkout Extension.Shopify’s new checkout UI lets Shopify Partners like Yotpo extend the checkout experience to include functionality that isn't provided natively. Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals merchants can easily install the new checkout extension on their store to allow their customers to redeem points for a discount when placing an order. Additionally, the extension allows customers who logged into their Shopify account to redeem points using Shop Pay.  ❗️ As Shopify rolls out the new checkout extension, we’re scoping out new ways to integrate loyalty programs. Right now, merchants have the ability to allow customers to redeem points from the drop-down.

Question about verifying loyalty actions from customers

I’m a technology parter for a few retail brands and considering using Yotpo. From looking at the features, I see the loyalty product allows shoppers to earn points by following the brand on instagram. But last I heard, the Instagram API no longer supports verifying followers. How does Yotpo ensure someone follows the brand on Instagram to correctly issue points?

Unable to style scheduled earning rules

We often schedule earning rules such as double points weekends.However, unless I’m missing something, there is no way to style the earning rule tile until it’s live because it doesn’t show up on in the ‘display on site’ editor until live and therefore when it launches it takes on the default Yotpo style instead of our brand styleThis obviously means that if you have a new earning rule scheduled to start midnight, you’re going to have to log at night to change it.So,is there a way to style tile before it goes live? And if not, why not?Thanks.

Referral API request headers CORS problem

Hi comminity,I’m trying to use Yotpo’s API documentation to implement Yotpo’s referral into my test shopify store. Create a discount code in Shopify that gives referrer rewards in yotpo when used

Hi there. I am just starting a business and new to Yotpo.  For my business, I want to be able to create discount codes in Shopify that my in-person salesforce can leave behind when they visit customers.  How do I set this up so that when the code is used in a Shopify transaction rewards are given in Yotpo to the in-person salesperson?For example, I drop off a leave-behind with my code, ANNE20.  A customer uses that code on my Shopify store to save 20%.  I want to reward the sales person with $5 for each time their code is used.Does this make sense?  Am I overcomplicating things?  Any and all help is appreciated!

How shopify accounts become subscribed email marketing customers

Trying to understand the process using shopify. When a person creates an account on shopify, but does NOT click subscribe to email marketing, do they get an email asking them to subscribe to email so that they can join rewards or do they automatically get rewards?If not, how do accounts get the rewards email? Trying to understand the process from people creating accounts, what messaging they recieve etc..how we can edit that - this way we can invite people off line in person at our POS to join.

Does anyone have any reference on how to add the widget js script tag to a React project so custom modules will display? More specifically a React NextJS Typescript codebase? Trying to add custom modules to my websites account center and the widget.js call always fails with a 404.

Shopify - Setting Up Your Loyalty Page

Setting Up the Rewards Page on ShopifyStep 1: Creating the rewards page templateIn the live theme, under the “templates” folder, create a new template of type "page" and give it a name. As a convention - “rewards”  for the rewards page, and "refer" for the referral page. This is the only time you should be editing the live theme.In the Pages section on Shopify, create a new page and call it “rewards” for the rewards page, and in the Template dropdown, select the name of the template you created in the theme.Duplicate the theme and name it “yotpo loyalty dev”. Step 2: Setting up the rewards page layoutIn the Snippets folder, create a separate snippet for each section of the page (header, referral, vip tiers etc). In the Templates folder, in the template of the rewards page we created in Step 1, set up the main layout of the page, and use {% include ‘snippet-name’ %} to add each component to the rewards page. In most builds, the order of the sections will change depending on whether or n
